2025 Summer Book Club

Nothing says summer quite like a good pile of books and some long sunny days to enjoy them! We love filling our summer with reading, drawing, crafting, and exploring and that is why we are so excited to invite you to do just that with us for the 4th summer in a row.

Waldorf inspired books.

Welcome to the 2025 Summer Book Club!

Starting June 29th, we’ll share a new story each week for six weeks. Each week we will open up a new beautifully illustrated, thoughtfully chosen picture book that is perfect for curious minds and open hearts. Together, we’ll read, reflect, and create, weaving a gentle rhythm into your summer days.

Each week’s study follows a simple three-day Waldorf-inspired structure:

  • Day One: Read and discuss the story using our open-ended questions to guide reflection and connection
  • Day Two: Retell the story together and dive deeper with our writing or drawing prompts
  • Day Three: Wrap up the week with a meaningful hands-on craft inspired by the story’s themes

You’ll find everything you need, including discussion prompts, creative activities, and tutorials, posted weekly on the Moon Child Blog, with a Sunday email to remind you what’s coming that week. Now, let’s unveil the 2025 Summer Book Club selection. We can’t wait to share these magical stories with you!
